Our New York Plastic Surgery Suite
There are times when a hospital is the right setting for plastic surgery in New York: when a procedure is especially complex or when there's an underlying medical condition, for instance. But most cosmetic surgeries can be performed in our fully accredited surgical suite, away from the hustle and bustle of a metropolitan hospital.
Our surgery suite offers many benefits for our patients. Most obvious is the calm, quiet, private environment. In addition, patients have the confidence of knowing that in and around the surgery suite, every detail related to their procedure has been carefully chosen by Dr. Jacobs. This includes the equipment, the instruments, the schedule and the surgical team. Each element has its role in your comfort and safety.

Dr. Jacob's New York plastic surgery suite has been successfully accredited and re-accredited several times by the Joint Commission. This means that the facility has undergone a challenging, comprehensive evaluation by the same organization that has accredited hospitals across the country for more than 50 years. Only a small percentage of outpatient settings have undergone and passed this evaluation.
The Joint Commission is considered the "gold standard" in healthcare evaluation. Among other requirements, accreditation demands proper equipment, safety procedures, patient management protocols and information security. Choosing to undergo evaluation by the Joint Commission shows a commitment to provide safe, high-quality care and a willingness to be measured against the highest standards of performance.
