- Inevitably, your tissues sag with age. Elements—such as collagen—that keep your skin and muscles taut weaken in time. No amount of exercise can change that.
- Gravity plays its part in pulling your tissues southward. Exercise is great for keeping muscles strong, but gravity still pulls at your body every day.
Think about this for a moment. If your arms or your breasts are also a bit more saggy than in the past, can exercise reverse this trend? Pumping iron every day could certainly build your biceps and strengthen your pectoral muscles. But will they change position on your body? And will the surrounding fat and skin magically tighten up? You already know that the answer is, unfortunately, no.
